In the city of Alicante, Spain, there are about 1,500 moorings for boats and yachts, and the project is to build another large marina at the site of the famous Volvo Ocean Race. What explains such a large number of them?

As we have said before - Alicante - is the nodal point for many yachts that come or enter from the Mediterranean. This, among other things, is determined by excellent logistics: the new airport is 15 minutes away, the railway station with high-speed trains to Madrid and Barcelona, and the beautiful AP-7 highway stretching along the entire coast. In addition, a large number of different bays suitable for parking and the presence of magnificent tourist places for sea travel: the islands of Tabarca, Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca and Minorca.

Moreover, Alicante has a huge dock of 25,000 square meters, equipped with three cranes for lifting and servicing ships and everything else you need.

Well, do not forget that Alicante is also a gastronomic city, which also attracts yacht owners. And in the summer, a magnificent holiday of San Juan takes place in the city, when huge figures are installed on the streets of the city on the night of San Juan, they are to be burned right on the streets of Alicante.
